heat it™ is a medical device for the relief of itch and pain caused by insect bites from mosquitoes, horseflies, bees and wasps. By applying heat, itchy bites can be quickly and easily relieved using your smartphone.
Fast & medically proven itch relief
To relieve itching & pain, the affected skin area is briefly heated to around 124 °F. By using concentrated heat, you can treat insect bites easily and fast with your smartphone. Depending on the setting in the app, the treatment lasts 4, 7 or 9 seconds. This chemical-free principle of local hyperthermia is medically confirmed (scientific study, June 2023).

Easy as 1-2-3
Treat insect bites within moments with your smartphone. Simply plug heat it™ into the charging port and the corresponding app opens. If necessary, you can now customize the treatment. After a short warm up, the contact surface of the heat it™ is placed on the insect bite. Depending on the setting in the app, the treatment takes 4, 7 or 9 seconds and reaches a temperature of between 117 and 126 °F. The app tells you once the treatment is successfully completed.
The magic behind heat it™
To relieve itch and pain, the affected skin area is briefly heated to approx. 124 °F. Current research suggests, heat application reduces the transmission of stimuli. Therefore, the itching signal can no longer be transmitted properly and the need to scratch disappears. In order to achieve this itch-relief effect on the skin nerves, a short heat pain is necessary.

Itching is the body's reaction to the mosquito saliva injected during the bite. Our immune system fights back by releasing histamine. As a result, the blood vessels dilate, the bite swells and begins to itch. Heat treatment of the bite causes various endogenous reactions that can relieve itching and pain.

I cannot believe how awesome this is. It’s so easy to use and actually works. We’ve used it dozens of times over the summer on ant bites, mosquito bites, and recently a super painful wasp sting. I 100% believe that the wasp sting healed so quickly because we used this! I have two boys, ages 5 and 8, and they are super active outside, so this comes in handy weekly!
I don’t typically write reviews but felt like this was worth it if it helps someone make the purchase.

Over the past 10 years my reaction to mosquito bites has worsened--increased redness, swelling, & itching. Thermacell, Deet, bug screens--all worked with limited success. After 2-3 applications of Heat-it, my troubles are gone! No more smelly sheets (Deet), stinky air odors (Thermacell), or wondering if the screens are correctly placed. TYVM

I purchased this on a whim in preparation of PNW mosquito season. Sat at a late bbq last night and woke up to two itchy bites, busted out this new device to test it and holy cow!!! It worked. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was pretty skeptical but this is a game changer! Keeping this thing handy on my keychain for easy use

I can’t recommend this device enough. It actually works as advertised and I don’t have to always have anti itch cream for my kids with me. I would recommend this to anyone!!
